HKS Super Oil API: SP standard, it has improved performance in heat resistance, detergency, and fuel economy. It is also designed to provide protection against LSPI(low-speed pre-ignition) (which often occurs with the downsized turbocharged engine using with direct injection) and timing chain wear protection.

What is the API SP standard?
It is the latest standard to be enforced in 2020 of the engine oil standard established by API (American Petroleum Institute).

Compared to the previous SN standard, the new engine test has improved heat resistance, cleanliness, and fuel efficiency.

In addition, performance such as suppression of LSPI (Low Speed Pre-Ignition), which tends to occur in downsized direct-injection turbo vehicles, and prevention of timing chain wear have been added.
